Abstract

This study had how aim to report the experience of teachers of the Degree course in Nursing of the School of Nursing Anna Nery/ Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, in the pupils' supervision in the consultations of nursing the clients with diabetes mellitus and arterial high blood pressure in a health basic unity of the Rio de Janeiro. In this work, there is emphasized, principally, the use of an instrument of evaluation of the client during the consultation, aiming for the optimization and integration of the education and health care practice. It is believed that the systematization of the consultation of nursing to clients with diabetes mellitus and arterial high blood pressure, makes possible the precocious identification of complications and the establishment of measures of prevention of the injuries and of promotion of the health of these individuals.
