SOME CONSIDERATIONS ON COMMUNICATION, GENDER AND TEEN PREGNANCY PREVENTION

The main risks resulting from teen pregnancy mostly affect the female teenager, creating inequalities between the couples involved in a pregnancy at this early age, demonstrating the need to intervene as a communication mediator from the perspective of a social construct that differentiates men and women and dictates their links to power and resources. This article expresses the author’s position in terms of the - gender, communication and adolescent pregnancy prevention, triad. It is indispensable the conscious use of educational communication in teaching and learning equal rights and duties in women and men from an early age as part of sex education that has to have a preventive effect on the occurrence of teenage pregnancies.
