ATTENDANTS, AUXILIARA AND NURSING TECHNICIAN THAT GRADUATE IN NURSING. WHAT DOES IT CHANGE?

Abstract

In introduction, authors are doing an historical revisión of brasilian nursing since the begining of 20th century, with objective to show the división of work in this profession, since the objective of this data is to know the changes that occur in attendants work, auxiliary and nursing technician after to gradúate in nursing. However, were interviewed all nurses in Hospital Institution in Botucatu Corporation - S„o Paulo - Brazil, that pervaining in this condition, by interview semi structured, broaching the activities developed in assistencial and management areas, and the social and financial changes that occur. However, itís possible to notice these changes: theoretical knowledge of assistance activities and care of the client and status increase, but sometimes it not followed by an increase of salary.
