The article focuses on the conceptual aspects of family violence through the use of qualitative ethnographic methodology. It also describes the phenomenon of abuse and the way it is illustrated through inductive data from our culture, as well as describes the cycle of violence. This Information can provide a basis for understanding how a cultural universe of women experiences this phenomenon. It assumes that these findings and references can be utilized in assistance, educational and research activities within the nursing discipline.
