THE NURSING CARE MEANING IN THE PERSPECTIVE OF THE ADULT HOSPITALIZED PATIENT

The purpose of this research is, through a qualitative trajectory of phenomenologic approach, to go to the world lived by the hospitalized patient in the medicine rooms of a State hospital, to undestand him in his nursing care experience. It was taken the modality of the situated phenomenon used in Brazil by professor. Joel Martins, which ineludes three moments of reflection: description, reduction and comprehension. Through the descriptions of the patients of his lived experience it was achieved interpreted meaningunits which led by means of idiographic and nomothetic analisys, to the comprehension of the following processe which made the nursing care up: concern; love, mood, good treatment and assistance; timely action; authorization; power and dependence. The hospital as well as some aspeets of the nursing students are unveiled as the care context. The results are important as a basis for the profession and teaching practice.
