THE IMPORTANCE OF THE CONSTRUCT LOCUS OF CONTROL AND ITS APLICATTION IN NURSING

Abstract

The present paper pretends to show an approach about the importance of the construct Locus of Control and its application in nursery as a predictive behavior tool, since an interactive paradigm. Its relation is explained with the Social Learning Theory, detaching both of its two orientations of internal and external behavior reinforcement. In addition, its utilization is presented in people's health valuation and in the orientation of programs that encourage promoting behavior of health.
