Abstract

A long way was walked by the international nursing and diferents moments were lived by trying to built its own knowledge body to supported the professional practice. Actually in Brasil, nursing is passing throught this process behindhand in relation to others countries. Changes are happening and exists the tendency to employ the nursing process in the professional practice.
