Abstract

This study presents a review and analysis of the violence phenomenon.
Violence as a matter of study means a research challenge because of the impact it has on the female professional group as are the nurses. Professionals as well as students are exposed to a considerable number of risk factors and the same may be said about consequences of violence.
The effects of violence are of vital importance in the learning process of prospective nurses, especially if we consider that the intrahospital clinical training constitutes the link between theory and its application, instant in which the student integrates both aspects.
