Abstract

This study presents reflections on the professor’s role and the nursing staff in the meanings attributed to the beginner nurse to his/her experience in care. Theoretical construct generated from this qualitative study aiming to understand the recently graduated nurse centered in care was used as evidence for consideration. Considering the path undertook by the nurse in the construction of care, in which professors and the staff have a significant impact, this study indicates the aspects which reinforces the need that those involved in this context might search for a new perception of him/herself, of the other and the care to build an adequate reality to the development of all the individuals involved.
