Abstract

Internationalization of Brazilian Nursing – In the context of the globalized world, efforts are realized to produce knowledge and to share socials expectative and needs, in special in the questions relationed with the needs of health of the populations of our countries and of the Latin-American Continent. It´s necessary to accurate the academic production and dissemination of the knowledge in different areas of actuation of nurses is fundamental factor to consolidate the social process of valorization of nurses. This paper aims at reflecting on the development of Brazilian History Nursing and to contribute to better know our own profession’s memory and identity. It would be also desirable that nurses participate more actively in their professional organizations, and that these organizations had better political representavity to allow inclusion of them in the Brazilian delegation for international meetings and assemblies.
