Abstract

The need to develop Nursing Practice Indicators to asses the added value of the nurses participation who can
relate to management and quality of care in providing health services, led to a research proposal which allowed a
closer description of nursing practice and then a specific indicators outlining of this. This article aims to describe
the Nursing Practice indicators´delineation process in Intensive Care Units, using qualitative approaches.
