The Ciudad Portuaria platform is a digital interactive simulation tool designed for urban and logistics planning in city-port interface contexts. Its design emerges from the need to articulate urban and port functions through a participatory, spatially explicit, and data-driven approach. The central objective of the platform is to facilitate the evaluation of future scenarios through key indicators, integrating territorial information, infrastructure projects, and sustainability criteria.
From a functional perspective, the platform enables modeling and comparing urban-port scenarios, visualizing territorial impacts, and dynamically incorporating new data or geometries. The technical architecture synchronizes multiple layers of information, ensuring an interactive experience based on maps, charts, and modular navigation. This development seeks not only to support local decision-making but also to constitute a replicable model for other port cities facing similar challenges of urban and logistics integration.
