Abstract

It is exposed the main geographic orientations in the period of ’60 decade. It considers authors, publications, research and theories which had the highest impact on the university educational process. It develops a review on the contributions done by Physical Geography. It includes names as: Climatology by Köeppen; Physical Geography by De Martone; Geology by Brüggen and others. It includes the French School and Vidal de la Blache as its relevant figure. Therefore, they are bases for future proposals done by Demangeon y Max Sorre. Thus, the German School and the Radical Marxist Geography in the US are considered cases, as well.
