The geo-ecological study of the dynamic landscape was focused under a vegetation physiognomy interpretation; following therefore a cruzidisciplinary approach, due to the vegetation which was recognized and was used as environmental key component to make a geo-ecological study at the mountain tropical geosystem: National Park "El Ávila". Under this approach, we began with the digitalization of the cover vegetation and land use map (1:100.000) to obtain a preliminary interpretation of the vegetal landscape, which is supported in: (1) A series of qualitative indicators of the vegetation: representativeness, peculiarity, fire sensitivity, human intervention - naturalness and natural regeneration. (2) The application of a geoecology classification of the dynamics of the vegetation (ecological succession), with base in the theory of bio-rhexistasia; reviewed to the light of the dimension and meaning acquired at the present time by the resilience concept.
