Metodología para la Delimitación y Zonificación de Humedales Costeros de Tipo Mediterráneo
Keywords:

A methodology for coastal wetland delineation and zoning in mediterranean environments is proposed, which aims to aid Territorial Planning. It was applied over two wetlands of the Biobío Region, Chile (Lenga and Tubul-Raqui). Variables of the natural setting were selected as input for a GIS processing. In both wetlands, flora gave the best criteria for spatial differentiation from the biotopo, using Spartina densiflora specie. Afterwards, socio-economics variables were added, determining the stress due to anthropization.
