Abstract

Considering the current pandemic caused by the Sars Cov-2 virus, the elements of knowledge and perception in the use of digital platforms used by higher education teachers in 2020 were identified, through the realization of quantitative research with descriptive design. The sample was composed of 56 educators who teach at university. The most relevant conclusions
include the concern —on teachers’ behalf— for the level of connectivity of their students, as well as the need for instruction in evaluation using these distance education resources; although, 98% of the teachers know how to use digital platforms, 67% do not have a positive perception, and 33% of them express negative emotions when using them.
