Abstract

Objective: To develop and evaluate a digital educational technology (ET) on fall prevention to be used by health
professionals during the implementation of the Fall TIPS program in Brazil. Material and Method: Applied research and technological development, including the planning, development and evaluation stages of a webbased educational technology on fall prevention to be used in the implementation of the Fall TIPS program in Brazil. The study was conducted from 2020 to 2022 in a co-production format and included infographics, podcasts and videos for each of the stakeholders involved in the program. Results: The evaluation consisted of 19 questions regarding appearance and goals and was answered by a group of 14 nurse leaders from a hospital in the South of Brazil, using an instrument that achieved an overall content validation index of 0.85. Conclusions: The ET aims to improve fall prevention by promoting adherence to the Fall TIPS program in Brazilian hospitals.
