Abstract

This article is framed within the scope of the acquisition and learning of a foreign language and its objective to determine the frequency of simple verbominal lexical collocations with full verbs meaning and their components at levels of proficiency of ELE A2 and B1 in a subcorpus of CAELE. For this, a cross-sectional descriptive study was carried out in 341 writing tasks, made up of 70,635 words. The main results show that level A2 produced 248 placements and level B1, 216. Consequently, this type of placements considered as elementary decreases in intermediate levels to give way to the acquisition and learning of more complex placements. These results suggest that from the first levels of Spanish proficiency the teaching of placements by ELE teachers is made explicit.
