Fungal communities from healthy plants of Geoffroea decorticans (Fabaceae) were studied seasonally during one year. Fifty-one species of micromycetes (mainly coelomycetes) were found on twigs and the inner surface of trunk rhytidome during one year of sampling. Higher values of diversity were registered in autumn. Clustering and PCA analysis showed differences between the mycobiota associated with twigs and those of rhytidome. Mycobiota of twigs also differed in relation to the position of these in the canopy.
