Abstract

Detailed karyotypes of C. elegans Phil., C. x serrata Ruiz & Pav. and C. chilensis (Willd.) DC. are given. In addition, the
result of the present contribution are the first report of a possible homoploid hybrid between C. chilensis and C. elegans,
and a tetraploid in Chaetanthera elegans.
