Plagiarism Policy

Every paper submitted for evaluation to the Law Journal will be subjected to an intense control of originality, via plagiarism analysis through review by editors and use of special software. The author must keep this fact in mind to assume responsibility for the originality of his work and the appropriate use of his sources.
The writings selected for evaluation will be submitted to the Compilatio plagiarism detector. Those papers that don't comply the minimum originality standards will be rejected.
About the use of bibliographical sources, the author must correctly cite each section of text used to reinforce his or her approach, respecting the use of quotation marks when the quotes are verbatim. The use of secondary sources should be avoided and, especially in the case of empirical legal publications, personal data protection regulations should be strictly respected.
Violations of these rules, detected by the Journal or the peer reviewers, prior to the author's right to release, will mean the rejection of the work, and the adoption of other measures that the Journal Editorial Management deems necessary.
