Abstract

This article is particularly about agricultural work season developed by women inside of the country context since the second half of the 20th century. Therefore it should characterize the most important phenomenon that occurs in the Chilean agriculture, the Land Reform and the subsequent emergence of Neoliberalism in the Chilean economy. So, this article takes both a historical overview of the agricultural situation, and the condition of rural women in the Aconcagua Valley and the rest of the country, highlighting some nuclei in which the farmers were collectively part: CERA, CEMAS, unions. Then, it will focus specifically on working conditions to which women are subjected to working in temporary agricultural labor.
