Abstract

This work studies two fundamental components in Mario Góngora’s political thought that his commentators have tended to overlook or at least minimize: anti-liberalism and Catholic fascism. The author maintains that while anti-liberalism represents the reactionary facet or dimension of Góngora’s thought, Catholic fascism represents the propositional facet or political dimension of his thought. Furthermore, this article seeks to verify the presence of these components throughout Góngora’s intellectual life
